During his year as President Percy and his delightful wife, Edith, travelled almost 200,000 miles and visited clubs in over 80 geographical areas. We had Percy and Edith with us in Toronto for two full days, March 24th and 25th, 1950. We kept them both very busy and our Rotarians have rarely heard two Rotary talks in 48 hours to equal the two Percy gave us on those days. One was to the club on Friday noon (attended by almost 200 visiting Rotarians from nearby clubs) and the second one was at a dinner at the National Club the same evening. The ladies were present and Percy excelled even himself. On Saturday evening Percy spoke "off the record" to a small group at the Granite Club. It was a great two days for Toronto Rotarians. J.A.C.
