[Above] J. L. WATCHURST Jim served R.I.B.I. with distinction as Vice-President 1956-57. He was elected President in April 1957 and became President on July 1st, 1957. Attended Lucerne International Convention in May. On July 5th, 1957 he was suddenly stricken and passed away. Had he lived he would have served R.I.B.I. with dignity and efficiency, then a year as Immediate Past President and then no doubt a year on the International Board of R.I. His passing was a sad loss to Rotary. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - JIM WATCHURST died a few days after becoming Pres. of R.I.B.I. in July 1957. J. Harry Thompson, Vice-Pres. assumed the Presidency and carried on in 58-59 - see page 59. There were some errors made in numbering these pages. Then on Page 58 Harry B. Shaw assumes the Presidency on July 1st, 1959. Then John C. Pride, Page 61, served as Pres. in 60-61. Then on Pages 58A and 58B we have H. J. Bennett, Pres. 61-62. On the same page T. Graham Mellor, President of R.I.B.I. in 62-63. (On 58B Mr. Wm. C. Carter served as Pres. in 63-64 and on the same page Eric Gaskel who served as Pres. in 64-65. Then turn to page 101 where John Little is shown on 101 - Pres. 65-66 and on the same page, Roland Everett Richardson, Pres. in 66-67. On Page 102 Geoffrey F. Sargeant 67-68 and John Nightengale on the same page Pres. in 1968-69. Then on page 103 the current Pres. Gordon W. Taylor, Pres. 1969- 70. This concludes my final word on Album No.2. Joe Caulder
