Rotary Biography of ELMER A. RICH Chicago. Illinois. U.S.A. Past Treasurer, Rotary International (Deceased: December, 1931) Elmer A. Rich of Chicago, Illinois, was the first Treasurer of Rotary International and served from 1910 to 1911 when the name of the organization was the National Association of Rotary Clubs of America. Mr. Rich was a charter member of the Rotary Club of Chicago and, for many years, was a diamond and jewelry retailer. He died in Chicago at the age of 70. Rotary International Until his retirement several years ago, Mac Martin was President of the Mac Martin Advertising Agency in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Minneapolis and has served Rotary International as Treasurer (in 1911-12) and as committee member. From Rotary International, 35 East Wacker Drive, Chicago 1, Ill., U.S.A. March 1954.
