Charles G. Tennent

Rotary's 47th President

CHARLES G. TENNENT

("Buzz" to Rotarians)

"Buzz" is from Ashville, North Carolina and is in the nursery business. No mistake was made by the Nominating Committee in this choice. His wife Jess will, as usual, make a fine helper for Buzz.

In this case, Toronto is just hoping to convince the Tennents they should visit Toronto during his year as Immediate Past President.

Buzz has served Rotary with distinction for many years and in their own quiet way they have improved Rotary's standing around the world.
